What did you or your team get done this year? Do you take time to look back?
This time of year, we often see summary videos of what we listened to on Spotify or a summary of this year’s major news events. We jump to making New Year’s resolutions and thinking ahead without acknowledging the great things we’ve accomplished in the past year.
But what about you?
What were your significant events at work, supporting Workday, or at home?
Focusing on what I didn’t get done is much easier if you are anything like me. But then I lose the joy of being able to celebrate everything that did happen this year!
This past weekend, I started on my list for 2023. Here are some examples of things on my list for this past year. My actual list is more detailed, but these are for the sake of examples:

There are still a few weeks left in this year. What are you going to do to finish this year well?
I’d encourage you to intentionally thank your staff and customers (internal or external) for what they have accomplished this year, for the help that they have been to you, and for their friendship. Maybe that will be in a holiday card or thank you note. But please take time to do it. People will appreciate it, and it will be worth the effort.
Thanks for your support this year, and happy holidays! I’m looking forward to a fantastic 2024!
